BioI came up with this nom de plume durring the WTO Police Riots in Seattle of 1999. With all the hype about the ev1l black clad anarchists blah blah blah. Since goths were by that time known to mainstream culture to wear a lot of black, I found it an amusing name. I really don't listen to gothic music much. Industrial music is my favorite. (I listen to a wide variety of music.) Anarcho-Goth isn't a precise description of my character, but since Industrial and Gothic culture are closely alligned, calling myself "Anarcho-person-who-listens-to-industrial-and-experimental-music" just doesn't have the same ring to it, anarcho-goth is close enough to describe me.
